Auditions for new singers who wish to solo or participate in Premier Singers:
- Please send a link to a video or audio recording of one song selection of your choice to Charlie Kim.
- You may sing an opera aria, oratorio, art song, or musical theater (in that order of preference). The selection should demonstrate vocal and emotional range, color, technique.
What to expect at the live audition:
- Sing 16 bars from any opera aria, oratorio, art song, or musical theater (in that order or preference). The selection should demonstrate vocal and emotional range, color, technique.
- Simple sight-reading
- Tonal memory
- Ensemble singing
